TROPICAL FRUIT PAVLOVA BURGERS

This beautifully soft and gooey piece of deliciousness was originally created for ‘Anna’, yes my friends, Anna… That’s gotta be me right? Well maybe some creative license may have been taken in saying that, but a gal can dream! The dessert was originally believed to have been created in honour of the Russian ballet dancer Anna Pavlova in the 1920′s during or after one of her tours to Australia.

Pavlova, is colloquially referred to as “Pavhere in the land Down Under, it’s a cake similar to meringue with a crispy crust and soft, marshmallowy light inner. Traditionally this little lovely is served during celebratory or holiday meals, and I know I gave you a sneak peak of this sweet petite treat at Christmas, but, the time has come my friends to unveil the 2011 new face of the good old Pav, … I introduce to you….. MY 2010 CHRISTMAS

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Christmas?  Being surrounded by all my favourite people, giving & receiving gifts and enjoying a fabulous feast together.  Now seriously, it doesn’t get much better than that does it?  This year was extra special because our family got to spend the day with Mr. HG’s family for the very first time, so I had all my people together under one roof.
