This week was a busy one, the hospitality industry has magically slipped into the next gear the pedal hits the medal, racing towards the holiday season. Being busy at work usually means less interest & time available to create family dinners at home that demand lots of thought & cooking time, so the quick stir fry’s are the way to go for us.
If you became a Chef in my hometown of Canberra, affectionately referred to as ‘The Berra’ by those who live here, then chances are you’ve trained with some awesome Asian Chefs like I did. This quick and tangy Asian influenced dish was mastered many a year ago as an apprentice when I worked along side some real characters. Wayan, who was an old-soul Balinese chef who constantly reminded me that the food secrets and recipes of Bali are kept under lock and key and I am lucky to have such information!
