BEERS, BEEF & BEETROOT RELISH BURGERS

The label read – Toast, spiced with cinnamon and a hint of bitter chocolate!! That’s a beer after my heart I’d say!

I eagerly awaited the arrival of my beer after winning one of the lovely Lorraine’s from NQN’s competitions. I planned to crack one of these beauties, the Endeavour True Vintage Beer, 2010 Reserve Amber Ale and gulp it down with a scrumptious fillet steak beef burger with our own little family recipe, Beetroot Relish.

The day came & the beer arrived, the label was super cool looking in an almost vintage style, the ale itself was a sexy amber red, rich with a gamey tang, it was sweetly spiced with herby characters; the dry bitterness was balanced perfectly with creamy malty goodness and the cocoa cut through with a refreshing zip. Mouthwatering right?

The wonderful news is, if you cellar this beer carefully, you can age this brew and it’s only going to taste better. The 3 blokes behind this hand crafted brew receive hands down a 10/10 from me. Continue Reading
