EVER FOUND YOURSELF UNEXPECTEDLY WITHOUT A JOB?

Here I sit a week after being told my job had been made redundant. Eeeek right!?! My now ex boss sure had been behaving odd in the lead up to said redundancy, very prickly, but I guess that comes with the territory of being a business owner huh? You have to make some tough decisions.

After getting over that momentary panic and freak out about the fact I still had rent and bills and commitments that were not going to wait for me, I set myself the task to get on with it as gracefully and quickly as one can, and still make smart decisions whilst doing it.

The obvious thing is to of course apply like crazy for work, however I thought Id share with you what I did, and a fabulous yummy easy meal to fill the tummy, warm the heart and make your home smell delicious too. IRON CHEF CHALLENGE – SLOW COOKED THAI PIE W/ CANDIED PAW PAW SALAD

No excuses needed to find me in the kitchen winging it without a recipe. ‘YES’, I hear you saying. ‘You’re a chef Anna, of course you’re fine to work without a recipe’. And that’s true, I’d agree with you mostly, I’ve definitely got the pinch of this and a splash of that down pat. But, when I hit my kitchen with a theme in mind, the Iron Chef in me emerges.
